A python, swallowed a baby at Okada, Edo State.

Witnesses say the snake, measuring about 10ft long, swallowed a six-month-old baby that was left abandoned outside a house..


The baby was reportedly left on a mat outside, while the mother went inside. A witness, who claimed to have arrived the scene as the snake was in the process of swallowing the baby, raised an alarm. People rushed to the scene and killed the snake, but were too late to save the baby

     A 16-Year-Old Boy identified as Uzairu Salisu, has had his eyes plucked out by his employer in the Dutsen Jira area of Yelwa area in Bauchi state on Thursday,. Wakili said that the victim is currently in the Abubakar Tafawabalewa Teaching Hospital Bauchi (ATBUTH) receiving medical attention while efforts are being made to arrest the suspect.

  A fatal accident along Benin/Auchi express way has claimed the lives of an entire family while traveling to the village. A family has been wiped out following an accident which happened today along Benin/Auchi express way in EtsakoWest Local Government Area of Edo State. It was gathered that the sad incident happened when the smaller vehicle which the passengers were travelling in ahead ran into a truck and got crushed in the process.None of the occupants came out of the car alive. The accident was said to have caused a scene in the area as other motorists and road users lamented the tragic incident.
